DSV - Global transport and logistics is seeking a Regional Intermodal Driver in Houston to handle regional drayage with consistent home time. You will operate semi-tractor trailers on regional routes, focusing on safety, efficiency, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required and TWIC card.
• 2+ years CDL A driving in last 4 years; 3+ years preferred.
• Meet DOT qualification requirements, FMCSR 391.41.
• Experience in load securement, route planning, and handling sensitive cargo.
• Strong customer service and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operates semi-tractor trailers on regional over-the-road drayage routes.
• Drives in compliance with Hours of Service regulations, operating up to 11 hours with 10 hours off duty.
• Performs local pickup and delivery (P&D) as assigned.
• Backs trailers safely to customer docks, ports, rail yards, and designated locations.
• Maintains full compliance with all Federal, State, and DOT safety regulations.
• Coordinates loads, schedules, and routing with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.
• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections and addresses mechanical issues prior to operation.
