Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the United States is seeking a Regional CDL A Driver for defined regional routes. The role covers same-day pickup and delivery with safety-first operation and professional customer interactions.

You will manage multiple stops per shift, maintain shipment documentation, and represent DSV professionally at all customer touchpoints. Expect a comprehensive benefits package and a pay range aligned to regional logistics standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license required.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL A driving experience in the last 4 years (3+ years preferred).
• Must meet DOT qualification requirements (FMCSR 391.41).
• No positive drug or alcohol tests in past five years.
• No accidents involving bodily injury in past three years.
• Experience in local P&D operations, multi-stop routing and urban driving preferred.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain within 90 days, if required.
• Strong load securement and freight handling understanding.

Responsibilities

• Drives semi-tractor/trailers for up to 11 hours after 10 hours off-duty on runs of up to one week or more.
• Back trailers to customer dock.
• Maintains compliance with Federal and State safety regulations and safe driving behavior.
• Communicates with customer representatives in a pleasant, respectful, and efficient manner.
• Coordinating with dispatchers.
• Complies with all DOT requirements including drug and alcohol testing.
• Securing cargo and balancing it within the vehicle.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer.
• Hook/unhook trailers, landing gear, fifth wheel release, and related equipment.
• Walk and stand for portions of the shift on various surfaces.
