Job summary

Leaf Home is seeking a Floating Installation Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the Installation department across regions. The role focuses on scheduling with homeowners and subcontractors to maximize efficiency and ensure timely installations.

You will train and coach subcontractors, improve retention through engagement, and partner with leadership to identify training gaps. Travel across offices is required to support a fast-paced, high-energy team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience recruiting, training, coaching, onboarding subcontractors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
• Able to travel 2–4 weeks out of the month to various offices in the region.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule jobs with homeowners and subcontractors to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure jobs are installed daily to improve location attainment and effectiveness.
• Train, coach and develop installation subcontractors both in the office and in the field.
• Improve subcontractor retention rates through training and engagement.
• Drive proficiency and efficiency amongst installation subcontractors.
• Work with the Field Trainer on individual performance and capacities of the installers.
• Identify systemic training gaps and propose solutions to address gaps.
• Recruit subcontractors as needed.
