HDR is seeking an Industrial Market Sector Leader to oversee the growth of HDR's Industrial program across Nebraska and Iowa. You will guide strategy, build client relationships, and lead a team delivering design, advisory, and project management services.

The role emphasizes a seller/doer mindset, collaboration with regional leaders, and delivering profitable projects while expanding HDR's presence in oil, gas, chemicals, industrial facilities, mining, and related sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, planning or related field
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience
• Experience developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning and/or engineering services
• Experience managing a wide range of client relationships and program/project pursuits
• Experience with staff development including recruiting, career path and professional growth
• Involvement with industry associations and maintaining a visible market profile
• Ability to collaborate with Regional Market Sector Directors and Area Managers
• Commitment to HDR values and employee-owned culture

Responsabilités

• Grow HDR's Industrial portfolio in Nebraska and Iowa with local and regional leaders
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning and market positioning
• Identify and pursue opportunities across design, consulting, advisory services, owners engineering, asset management, due diligence, and planning
• Lead and participate in direct project pursuits including qualifications, proposals, budgets, and negotiations
• Establish external teaming relationships and represent HDR in industry associations
• Provide leadership and project management to ensure quality work and staff development
• Manage day-to-day activities and support professional development of staff
• Coordinate with Area Business Group Manager and other leaders to align resources with workload and marketing efforts
• Drive financial performance of the Industrial Sector including profitability and revenue
