Job summary

Gemaire Distributors, LLC in Florida seeks an Area Operations Manager to lead and support multiple Sales Centers across the region. You will oversee warehouse, shipping, delivery, and showroom operations while mentoring center managers and driving consistent processes.

Responsibilities include inventory performance reviews, promotions support, and coordinating training conferences with regional leaders. Travel to centers and customer sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years operational experience in HVAC industry and product lines; experience managing wholesale HVAC equipment supply houses.
• Proficiency in air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
• 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial contractor relationships.
• Proven success in sales, marketing, operations and leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, training and guidance to the operations of Sales Centers including Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, Delivery, Fleet Drivers, Showroom, Warranty, Counter Sales and Inside Sales personnel.
• Educate Sales Center Managers on inventory management performance topics and train underperforming centers on higher performance techniques.
• Support implementation of new products, policies and procedures and review weekly reports with managers to improve center performance.
