Job summary

Walmart seeks a Licensed Manager/HVAC for Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee preventative maintenance across a regional footprint. You will lead technicians, coordinate with store managers and vendors, and ensure compliant, efficient facility operations.

Expect 50%+ regional travel, license maintenance, and a focus on safety and service quality. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $180,000 with bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience – 3-5 years would be optimal
• Electrical, plumbing, and or mechanical experience
• Leadership skills – Able to lead, motivate, and develop others
• Communication/Interpersonal skills
• Problem solving skills – Root cause and breakdown analysis experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• PMP Certification
• Lean Six Sigma

Responsibilities

• Would require approximately 50% or more travel within the region along with maintaining Mechanical Contractor Licenses in the state of employment
• Works directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on their facility services needs
• Works directly with different vendors and contractors if needed
• Reporting and analytics
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to uphold good standing with relevant authorities.
• Participate in training programs to ensure familiarity with the latest regulatory requirements, enabling successful scope of work performance, including but not limited to, conducting site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
• Obtain and secure all necessary permits and schedules inspections as mandated by pertinent mechanical or building codes, when applicable.
