Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Substation Physical Engineer | Regional Technical Leader to provide both technical and organizational leadership within our Power and Energy practice. You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers while serving as the engineering authority for substation physical design.

The role covers 230kV–345kV projects, EOR responsibilities, and coordination with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver projects from planning through startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and PE licen​se.
• 15 years of related experience; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV substation design from 230kV to 345kV.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables and studies.
• Mentor engineers and support business growth.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated delivery.
• Deliver high quality client service and performance.
