Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. is seeking a Regional HSEQ Operational Manager to lead Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality programs across Wind, Solar, Storage, and Demand Response in North America.

You will mentor regional HSEQ leaders, champion ISO standards, and ensure regulatory compliance in a complex renewables environment. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, incident prevention, and data-driven reporting using SAP, with travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years in HSEQ roles within power generation or industrial operations; at least 2 in leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise with ISO-based management systems, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with SAP or similar systems for HSEQ reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the North American HSEQ function across Wind, Solar, Storage, and Demand Response operations in the region.
• Manage and mentor HSEQ regional managers and staff and ensure effective support across all plants.
• Align North American HSEQ strategy with corporate goals and initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and implement HSEQ programs aligned with ISO standards and local regulations.
• Provide training and foster a proactive safety culture; oversee PPE training and usage.
• Lead incident investigations, reporting, and root cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate regulatory and internal HSEQ reporting and data integrity in systems.
• Oversee contractor and vendor HSEQ compliance and safety protocols.
• Partner with Operations teams to develop site-specific safety programs and hazard analyses.
