Nexamp is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead and implement EHS programs across solar construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and energy storage activities. You will ensure regulatory compliance and foster a proactive safety culture across projects in Upstate NY and Chicago.

You will manage a regional team of EHS specialists, coordinate site visits, investigations, and corrective actions, and partner with project teams and subcontractors to improve safety

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Safety and Occupational Health or equivalent construction-safety leadership experience.
• 4+ years of full-time safety/occupational health in construction/renewable energy.
• Experience supervising direct reports or subcontractors.
• Utility-scale electrical safety experience preferred.
• NFPA 70E, Associate Safety Professional, Graduate Safety Practitioner or Certified Safety Professional certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and improve environmental, health, and safety programs across solar construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance.
• Lead regional EHS Specialists and manage contracted hires and site visits.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and safety observations to verify compliance and address deficiencies.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Manage regulatory and environmental compliance with OSHA, EPA, state/local, and client requirements.
• Review job hazard analyses, work plans, permits, and training records with project teams.
• Monitor EHS performance, compile regional reports, and maintain HASPs and drills.
