Sims Metal, a global leader in metal recycling, seeks an HR Business Partner to oversee regional HR programs. The role is based on-site at 7600 Rolling Mill Rd, Baltimore, MD, with travel to MD, PA, and VA as needed.

You will partner with management to drive compensation, benefits, leave, employee relations, and performance management, while ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience across the region.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Prior HR-related Union experience.
• SHRM Certified Professional preferred.
• Prior HRIS experience required.
• Strong training delivery for managers and employees.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Serve as strategic partner to management on HR matters.
• Lead HR programs including compensation, benefits, and leave administration.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, investigations, and performance management.
• Drive talent development, recognition, and engagement.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment and onboarding.
