Job summary

Ingles Markets seeks a District HR Coordinator to serve stores, partnering with the District Manager, HR Department, and leaders to support district needs and training rollouts. The role includes supervising training program development, coordinating hiring events, and ensuring policy compliance across stores in Asheville, Hendersonville, Fletcher, Franklin, Cashiers, and surrounding areas.

Regular travel within the district is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• 3–5 years of training/development experience in retail or equivalent.
• Independent worker with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of HRIS, timekeeping, ATS systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, oversee, and evaluate training programs to improve adherence to company standards at store level.
• Create manuals, guides, and course materials; conduct trainings across seminars/functions.
• Guide managers on HR-related matters and ensure policy alignment.
• Address associate relations issues and conduct investigations with resolutions.
• Coordinate hiring events and assist store management with recruitment.
• Conduct semi-annual safety inspections and coordinate with Safety Coordinators.
• Train store leaders on new HRIS and POS systems; support deployments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
