REI in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced HR leader to act as a strategic coach to regional and store leadership, designing people strategies that accelerate growth, drive transformation, and enable organizational agility. You will lead cross-functional HR solutions and build a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with evidence of strategic impact.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Broad HR competencies including org design, performance, leadership, rewards.
• Consulting and coaching skills to link people strategies to business goals.
• Knowledge of employment law and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic coach to regional and store leadership and drive large-scale change.
• Coach leaders to strengthen capability and engagement.
• Partner with Organizational Effectiveness to align business strategies.
• Assess performance gaps and deliver HR interventions for long-term performance.
• Lead change management strategies for sustainable results.
• Design and manage the talent lifecycle including staffing and onboarding.
• Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and policy practices.
