Job summary

Rural King seeks a Human Resources Lead to support store-level HR operations and create a positive associate experience. You’ll partner with store leadership to drive recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training, and compliance.

This role focuses on benefits administration, performance management, and engagement, with opportunities to grow within a growing family-owned retailer that values People First and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience preferred.
• Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, or associate engagement.
• Knowledge of HR practices, employment policies, and workplace compliance.
• Experience using HRIS, ATS, or other computer-based systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting, talent acquisition, and candidate experience for open positions.
• Manage onboarding, orientations, and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate associate records, HRIS data, attendance, and documentation.
• Support benefits administration, leave management, and HR reporting.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, coaching, and development.
• Coordinate training programs including onboarding, safety, and policies.
