Apple Rehab Cromwell, a 74-bed skilled nursing community in Central Connecticut, seeks a Regional HR & Payroll Coordinator to oversee two Cromwell-area facilities. The role includes recruitment, onboarding, benefits review, and payroll administration per federal, state, and local laws.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years HR experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and experience managing HR tasks across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 4 years of HR experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
• Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Payroll experience with flexible holiday scheduling.
• Experience overseeing HR tasks for multiple facilities/entities.
• Self-motivated with time-management skills and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring and recruiting with facility management.
• Interview and screen candidates; schedule interviews with staff.
• Conduct pre-employment checks and coordinate offers.
• Set up orientation programs for new hires and ensure policy review.
• Oversee payroll processing in line with company policies and regulations.
