Job summary

Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Regional HR Business Partner to manage HR activities across Virginia East including Richmond, Norfolk and Franklin. You will recruit, onboard, coach managers and employees, and ensure policy compliance in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR with 3+ years' HR experience, strong labor-law knowledge, and proficiency in Paylocity and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field plus at least 3 years HR experience.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
• Experience in wholesale distribution or manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of general labor law and employment compliance regulations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR responsibilities for EECO locations within Virginia East.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR matters.
• Conduct recruiting and onboarding for positions in the region.
• Coordinate reporting of training and development activities.
• Update HRIS and coordinate payroll change activities.
• Be the HRIS expert for the HR team.
• Promote employee engagement and positive work environment.
• Occasional travel to other locations monthly.
• Work primarily at the Richmond office.
