Job summary

EECO is seeking a Regional HR Business Partner to lead HR activities for locations in North Carolina (Raleigh and Greensboro) and South Carolina (Columbia and Charleston). The role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training, policy implementation, and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in HR and 3+ years of HR experience, with strong knowledge of labor law and compensation programs. Travel to other locations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related area of study plus at least 3 years of HR work experience.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
• HR experience in wholesale distribution or manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of general labor law and employment compliance regulations.
• Experience communicating compensation and benefit programs.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills – oral, written, and public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR responsibilities and provide HR support for the EEOC locations assigned.
• Provide consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR related matters.
• Conduct recruiting and on-boarding activities for positions within the assigned region.
• Coordinate organizational development, training and performance management activities.
• Provide support of compensation and benefits programs.
• Coordinate and grow the campus recruitment and internship program for EECO.
• Update HRIS as needed, and coordinate change activities with the payroll department.
• Plan and promote orientation and employee engagement events that create a positive work environment.
• Expected to work at the Raleigh office location for the majority of the work week.
• Other duties as assigned to be successful in this role.

Position Purpose:

The Regional HR Business Partner, under the direction of the VP of Human Resources, is responsible for HR activities for locations in North Carolina (Raleigh and Greensboro) and South Carolina (Columbia and Charleston). Areas of responsibility include recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training initiatives, event planning, policy and procedure implementation, and employment law compliance.

Salary Range: $80K-100K, plus bonus potential
