Job summary

EECO in Raleigh, NC seeks a Regional HR Business Partner to oversee HR activities for NC locations and SC. The role reports to the VP of HR and covers recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.

You will partner with managers, travel monthly, and work from the Raleigh office most of the week. A Bachelor's in HR and 3+ years of HR experience are required; SHRM/HRCI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related area of study with at least 3 years of HR experience.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
• HR experience in wholesale distribution or manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of general labor law and employment compliance regulations.
• Experience communicating compensation and benefit programs.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills – oral, written, and public speaking.
• Ability to travel at least monthly to other locations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with HRIS – Paylocity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day HR responsibilities and provide HR support for the EEOC locations assigned.
• Provide consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR related matters, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals and objectives.
• Conduct recruiting and on-boarding activities for positions within the assigned region.
• Coordinate organizational development, training and performance management activities.
• Provide support of compensation and benefits programs.
• Coordinate and grow the campus recruitment and internship program for EECO.
• Update HRIS as needed, and coordinate change activities with the payroll department.
• Plan and promote orientation and employee engagement events that create a positive work environment.
• Expected to work at the Raleigh office location for the majority of the work week.
• Other duties as assigned to be successful in this role.
