Job summary

Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) is seeking a Regional HR Business Partner for Virginia East, including Richmond, Norfolk, and Franklin. The role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training initiatives, policy implementation, and compliance.

You will partner with managers to drive compensation programs, employee engagement, and HR system updates while traveling monthly to other sites. Richmond office presence is required most weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
• HR experience in wholesale distribution or manufacturing a plus.
• Strong understanding of labor law and employment compliance regulations.
• Experience communicating compensation and benefit programs.
• Highly organized with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail with analytical abilities.
• Excellent oral, written, and public speaking skills.
• Must maintain integrity and ethical standards.
• Team player with cooperative attitude.
• Willingness to travel monthly to other locations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with HRIS – Paylocity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative HR guidance and coaching to managers and employees.
• Manage day-to-day HR responsibilities for the assigned EECO locations.
• Lead recruiting and onboarding activities for the region.
• Coordinate training programs and track development assignments.
• Update HRIS and coordinate payroll-related changes.
• Serve as HRIS expert for the HR team.
• Promote employee engagement activities and events.
• Travel to other locations at least monthly as needed.
• Uphold corporate policies and employment law compliance.
