Job summary

SNI Companies in Baltimore, MD seeks a Regional Human Resources Manager to lead HR across multiple facilities in a fast-paced, unionized environment, based onsite in Baltimore.

You will manage full lifecycle HR, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and labor relations, while using AI tools to improve processes and partner with leadership.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HR management, 3–5 years in unionized settings, UKG experience preferred, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR management experience.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in unionized environments.
• Demonstrated experience with labor relations, grievances, CBA interpretation, union communications, and related processes.
• Experience managing HR responsibilities across multiple locations.
• Strong full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; UKG experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned locations, partnering closely with operations and senior leadership.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, benefits, leave administration, and offboarding.
• Manage high‑volume, full‑cycle recruiting, including approximately 10–12 active requisitions during peak periods and ensuring positions are filled efficiently.
• Coordinate with union representatives and follow established bidding procedures before recruiting externally.
• Handle labor relations matters, including grievances, collective bargaining agreement interpretation, union communications, and employee issues.
• Support union and non‑union employees while ensuring consistent application of company policies and procedures.
• Communicate and explain benefits, leave processes, and HR policies clearly to employees.
• Coordinate payroll and HRIS processes and maintain accurate employee records.
• Provide training, HR updates, and guidance to employees and management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support workforce planning and HR initiatives as the organization continues to expand.
• Partner with leadership to identify employee and operational needs and develop practical HR solutions.
• Utilize AI and emerging HR technologies, including tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT, to improve efficiency and HR processes.
• Travel to assigned facilities on a quarterly basis, including approximately one week in California and approximately three days at other locations.
