Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to partner with North American leadership to execute business and people strategies in Elko, NV. This onsite role leads an HR Generalist, drives workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness with advisory support to executives.

The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years of HR experience, strong stakeholder management, and a strategic mindset to shape employee relations and development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 7-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience as a strategic HR Business Partner and trusted advisor to leadership teams.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• Experience in heavy equipment, industrial, manufacturing, distribution businesses is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop people strategies that support business objectives and workforce planning.
• Coach leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness and employee engagement.
• Resolve employee relations matters balancing employee experience and business needs.
• Support talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruiting and workforce planning.
• Drive HR programs adoption and change management initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
