Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking an HR Business Partner to support our operations across Alabama and Kentucky. The role will be located in Mobile with frequent travel to other locations and offers full benefits.

You will manage HR services for multiple locations, partner with leadership, and drive talent initiatives aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities include strategic HR partnership, coaching leaders, talent development, recruitment, onboarding, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field with 3–5 years HR experience.
• Professional HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
• Experience interpreting federal, state, and local employment laws/policies.

Responsibilities

• Function as HR strategic business partner with leadership to develop and execute organizational strategies.
• Coach regional leadership and advocate for employees.
• Guide talent management, development, succession planning and bench strength.
