Job summary

Biloxi Housing Authority seeks a seasoned Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned portfolio. You will supervise staff, ensure 97% occupancy, and drive lease-ups while maintaining responsive resident services and compliance with housing programs.

Responsibilities include budget reporting, coordinating with Finance and Maintenance, and maintaining professional onsite presence. This role supports the Authority's mission and requires strong leadership and compliance

Qualifications

• Two years of tax credit property management experience
• Knowledge of property/housing management software
• Experience ensuring compliance in housing programs such as tax credits or project-based vouchers

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned portfolio of properties
• Supervise staff including planning, assigning, evaluating, and disciplining
• Ensure 97% occupancy and manage marketing and lease-ups
• Monitor rent collections and handle lease enforcement
• Prepare budget reports and assist with budget development and reporting
• Coordinate with Finance/Maintenance on budgetary matters and compliance
• Maintain onsite presence and respond to resident inquiries promptly
• Coordinate resident services and partnerships with social service agencies
