Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a Housing Support Coordinator for Region 3 Field Office in Atlanta. You will lead initiatives to create housing opportunities, manage contracts, and coordinate with local, state, and federal partners to improve housing access for DBHDD clients.

Under supervision, you will oversee supportive housing programs, conduct data analysis, ensure compliance, and train providers on Housing First principles to expand housing options

Qualifications

• Understanding of recovery principles and housing-first approaches.
• Knowledge of housing programs and rental assistance concepts.
• Strong leadership and project-management capabilities.
• Data analysis, program evaluation and monitoring experience.
• Excellent customer service skills with diverse populations.
• Ability to manage partnerships with local, state and federal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Supportive Housing Contracts and related programs.
• Manage data collection, analysis and reporting on housing initiatives.
• Evaluate and sign off on applications for state-funded rental assistance programs.
• Interpret program requirements and resolve housing barriers.
• Conduct field reviews of housing placements and resolve issues with property owners.
• Represent DBHDD in community forums and outreach to expand housing options.
