Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in Georgia seeks a State Services Coordinator for the Region 3 Field Office in Atlanta. This field-based role supports individuals with IDD across multiple counties, developing ISPs and coordinating providers under supervision.

You will facilitate ISP meetings, educate families, and monitor service plan outcomes, ensuring HIPAA compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of job-related experience.
• Knowledge of IDD services, Medicaid waivers, or DBHDD I/DD services preferred.
• Spanish fluency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and monitors Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
• Schedules and facilitates ISP meetings with families and providers.
• Assists individuals with IDD to choose state funded providers.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of protected health information.
• Monitors ISP implementation and health and safety via visits and documentation reviews.
