The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Housing Support Coordinator for Region 3 Field Office in Atlanta. This hybrid role requires at least three days in the office and about 30% travel annually to support housing initiatives and program implementation.

You will oversee the Georgia Housing Voucher Program and Bridge Funding, coordinate with local and state partners, and ensure access to services for DBHDD clients, with a focus on expanding housing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of experience or one (1) year at a lower level.
• Licensure may be required for some positions.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the Supportive Housing Contracts data management and analysis.
• Evaluate and sign off on applications for state-funded rental assistance programs.
• Interpret program descriptions to address housing barriers for individuals with SPMI.
• Conduct field reviews of housing placements and resolve deficiencies with owners.
• Represent DBHDD in community forums and outreach to expand housing options.
• Provide training to providers on Housing First principles and housing options.
