Job summary

Transitions Hospice - Illinois is seeking a Director of Hospice Operations to drive regional growth, oversee staffing and clinical outcomes, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

You will lead clinical and administrative teams, partner with the Administrator and Finance, and represent the organization in the community to enhance patient care and organizational reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/healthcare admin required.
• 5+ years hospice/home health leadership experience.
• Proven ability to drive census growth and regional performance.
• Knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification, CHAP, and federal/state regs.
• Experience supervising multi-site clinical and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

• Owns regional growth strategy including census and market share.
• Develops partnerships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, and community groups.
• Partners with Finance on budgeting and forecasting.
• Leads quality, compliance, and QAPI across the region.
• Directs day-to-day regional operations and staffing.
• Represents the organization with external stakeholders.
