Job summary

Datavant is seeking an onsite ROI specialist to process patient health information requests in a timely, accurate manner while safeguarding privacy in accordance with HIPAA and company policy.

This role requires traveling to sites across Arkansas (North Little Rock, Conway, Little Rock, Pine Bluff) about 75% of the time, and supports staff, data handling, and quality assurance to ensure compliant medical records management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology.
• Familiar with different EHR and Billing Systems.
• Experience working with subpoenas.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of facility software and HIS systems.
• Adhere to conduct policies; communicate with leadership about issues.
• Prepare and assemble medical records; respond to internal and external requests.
• Answer calls, assist with admissions and data entry as needed.
• Generate reports; ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.
