Job summary

Datavant is hiring for an entry-level role focused on processing all releases of information (ROI), ensuring accuracy under HIPAA and privacy standards. The position requires onsite work with travel to North Little Rock, Conway, Little Rock, and Pine Bluff, AR.

You will support patient walk-ins, document information across platforms, and gain comprehensive training with mentoring. Responsibilities include processing requests, maintaining confidentiality, and using multiple software platforms.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology.
• Familiar with different EHR and Billing Systems.
• Experience working with subpoenas.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with policy.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of facility software.
• Adhere to conduct and policies.
• Inform manager of issues and changing volumes.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
• Apply medical privacy regulations to guard against disclosure.
• Manage patient health records and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Create digital images of paperwork for EMR storage.
• Respond to requests for patient records from internal and external sources.
