Job summary

Datavant is seeking an ROI Specialist to process medical record requests, safeguard patient privacy, and ensure HIPAA-compliant releases. The role requires 75% regional travel, onsite work, and HIM experience. You will work with various EHR systems and assist in improving processes and training staff.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, travels locally, and can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict data quality and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology.
• Familiar with different EHR and Billing Systems.
• Experience working with subpoenas.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
• Respond to requests for patient records from internal and external sources.
• Maintain working knowledge of facility software and reporting tools.
• Support training and onboarding of staff in HIS positions.
• Assist with quality assurance tasks and regional training as needed.
