Datavant is an entry level role focusing on processing all release of information (ROI), specifically medical record requests, ensuring timely, accurate service while safeguarding patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA.

The role is onsite with travel to North Little Rock, Conway, Little Rock, and Pine Bluff, AR, and involves assisting with patient walk-ins, ROI processing, and using two monitors across multiple platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifikationen

• HIPAA knowledge and medical terminology are preferred.
• Familiar with different EHR and Billing Systems.
• Experience working with subpoenas.

Aufgaben

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with company and facility policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software.
• Adhere to company and customer facilities Code of Conduct and policies.
• Inform manager of work, site difficulties, and/or fluctuating volumes.
• Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.
• Guard patient privacy to prevent unauthorized disclosure of information.
• Prepare new patient charts gathering documents from paper or electronic sources.
