Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager in Florida to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and support market development within a designated region.

You will collaborate with sales, public relations, and branch management to align strategies and achieve sales goals, while mentoring sales teams and managing forecasts and market research.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of experience in related sales management or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving regional growth.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience building relationships with service-oriented customers and teams.
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop sales teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM (Excel power user), and other business software.
• Creative and adaptable in a fast-paced, shifting environment.
• Solid forecasting and strategic planning knowledge.
• Ability to travel within the region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Establish new business opportunities through market research and networking
• Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth
• Monitor sales performance metrics to ensure objectives are met
• Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets
• Foster trust-based relationships with key customers and stakeholders
• Hire, train and develop high-performing sales professionals
• Travel within the region to meet with customers and industry events
• Lead negotiations and closing bid opportunities
