Job summary

Girls on the Run Minnesota is seeking a Regional Manager to lead programming and regional growth in Rochester and Southern Minnesota. You’ll manage operations, engage volunteers, and build partnerships with schools, community organizations, and donors.

You’ll recruit and train coaches, lead regional events, and ensure culturally responsive programming. Relocation to Rochester, MN is preferred, with travel throughout the region and occasional days at the St. Paul office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in nonprofit program management, community engagement, or volunteer coordination.
• Demonstrated success managing programs or partnerships independently.
• Passion for Girls on the Run mission and values.
• Pro-active relationship-builder and capable of growing regional presence through outreach, public speaking, and creative events.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple projects while keeping the big picture in mind.
• Independent worker with sound judgment and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse groups; culturally humble.
• Willingness to reside in Rochester, MN or relocate and travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional program operations and volunteer support across Southern Minnesota sites.
• Recruit, onboard, and support program sites and volunteer coaches.
• Lead Camp GOTR and seasonal program delivery in the region.
• Develop and execute a regional growth plan with the Program Director.
• Build partnerships with schools, community organizations, and donors to expand GOTR presence.
• Represent GOTR at meetings, events, and speaking engagements to raise regional visibility.
