Job summary

Girls on the Run Minnesota is seeking a Spring 2027 intern to join the Program team in Twin Cities. The role is part-time, about 10 hours per week, with coaching in the afternoon and in-office time in St. Paul.

The internship runs roughly January 25 to May 31, 2027, offering $17.50/hour and potential school credit. You must be able to work weekday afternoons and travel locally for events and site visits.

Qualifications

• Must be available 2 non-consecutive weekday afternoons (2-5 p.m.) for coaching.
• Must live in Twin Cities metro area.
• Must spend at least 3 hours/week in St. Paul office (Mon/Tue/Thu 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.).
• Willingness to travel locally for coaching, site visits and events.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a Girls on the Run coach (leading two 90-minute sessions each week).
• Assisting with coach recruitment, training and support during the 8-week season (mid-March to May).
• Completing data entry related to program volunteers, 5K participants, and site management.
• Supporting tabling events at public outreach and community events.
• Assisting with administrative duties that support GOTR MN operations.
