Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Power Conversion Solutions in the Central Region of North America. You will lead the sales process for utility-scale solar and storage projects, build relationships with utilities, IPPs, EPCs, and developers, and work with product and engineering teams to tailor solutions.

The role requires 8–12+ years in technical sales, a strong network in PV/storage markets, and willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and events.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in technical sales or business development in PCS or related technologies.
• Strong network in the utility-scale PV and storage markets.
• Experience in global, matrixed organizations with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle sales efforts for utility-scale solar and storage projects for customers HQ'd in Central Region.
• Build strong relationships with utilities, IPPs, EPCs, and developers.
• Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape solutions.
• Support technical evaluations, proposals, and bid processes.
• Represent Hitachi Energy at key industry events and forums.
• Drive pipeline management and forecasting with precision.
• Position PCS as a trusted, high-quality solution provider.
