Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a customer‑focused supervisor to lead 24/7 operations in its Portland region within Power Delivery. You will oversee system operations, outages, and dispatch activities, coordinating with multiple departments to achieve strategic goals.

Required is a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and at least five years in the utility power delivery field, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Onsite work in Portland with a rotating on‑call duty schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years in utility power delivery or related experience.
• Strong supervisory, communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Salt Lake City or Portland region system operations center and implement strategic objectives.
• Supervise work related to system operation, outages, and notification processes.
• Oversee planning, operations, switching and protection of distribution and transmission systems.
• Coach employees, provide training, and collaborate with other departments.
• Respond to complex outage conditions and improve operational procedures.
• Be on 24/7 call as a supervisor on a weekly rotating basis.
