Job summary

The LIBRE Initiative in Pennsylvania seeks a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) to recruit and mobilize grassroots leaders in the Harrisburg area and drive policy reforms that open opportunities for all.

You will organize neighborhood events, train volunteers, and manage canvassing contractors, working evenings and weekends with a flexible schedule while upholding Stand Together values.

Qualifications

• Passion for people and ability to motivate diverse individuals.
• Self-motivation and objective-driven work ethic.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple events and activities.
• Team player who works well with LIBRE staff and activists.
• Willingness to canvass neighborhoods, make calls, and coordinate volunteers.
• Valid driver’s license for travel within the state.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists across the state who can become community leaders.
• Motivate leaders to advocate for LIBRE principles and connect them to LIBRE training/resources.
• Organize events to engage the public through in-person and phone outreach.
• Keep activists engaged and informed to maintain momentum and participation.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors including scheduling and compliance.
