Job summary

Americans for Prosperity in Tampa seeks a Regional Field Manager (Grassroots Engagement Director) to recruit, mobilize, and sustain grassroots leaders who will advocate for policy reforms aligned with AFP principles.

You will organize events, coach volunteers, work with AFP staff, manage part-time canvassing contractors, travel as needed, and operate evenings and weekends as required. Stand Together values guide our PBM culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to recruit and engage grassroots leaders across the state.
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes.
• Self-motivation and goal-driven work ethic.
• Strong organizational and event-management skills.
• Ability to work with AFP staff and volunteers.
• Willingness to travel; evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to Stand Together values and PBM philosophy.
• Experience in grassroots advocacy or campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists and motivate them to advocate for change.
• Equip local leaders with AFP resources and training.
• Organize events to engage the public.
• Maintain regular contact to keep activists motivated.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors and ensure compliance.
