The ideal candidate has 5+ years in public affairs, strong relationships with regional leaders, excellent communication, and a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in public or government affairs, including state/local policy, advocacy, and crisis/issue management.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with community leaders across the North/Mid-Atlantic US.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel to onsite locations and attend political/industry events.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with state and local leaders across the designated region to support SpaceX and SpaceXSI priorities.
• Develop, maintain, and build relationships with local government officials, lawmakers, and regulatory decision-makers.
• Monitor and analyze local and regional policy developments.
• Perform research, develop policy materials, and support strategy.
• Support the Director of Government Affairs with statewide government relations priorities.
