Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation in Sacramento, CA seeks a General Manager to oversee service, repair, maintenance and modernization activities across the region, driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will lead a team, manage P&L, develop regional plans, and coordinate with Field Quality Excellence on safety initiatives, while building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• MBA or MA degree required or preferred for senior leadership.
• BA/BS in Business, Engineering, or related field required.
• Experience managing a full P&L and leading teams in a service/industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual regional business operations plans and budgets for service, repair and modernization.
• Own the regional P&L and drive profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate safety initiatives with Field Quality Excellence and oversee training.
• Manage New Installation resources and oversee project staffing and budgets.
• Lead and mentor a team, set workload and performance reviews.
• Direct labor relations and maintain high morale within the team.
