Job summary
Schindler Elevator Corporation (U.S.) in Seattle seeks a General Manager to lead operations across sales, installation, and modernization services within an assigned geography. You will coach District Service Managers, drive customer strategy, manage budgets, and guide financial performance to meet business targets.
A BA/BS is required, 10+ years in elevator or service industries, and strong leadership and negotiating skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years in elevator industry or service sector.
- Experience managing full P&L for an industrial company.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead district operations across sales, installation, and modernization services.
- Develop and execute regional business, operations, and quality plans.
- Coach and develop District Service Managers, Construction Managers, Sales teams, and Field Superintendents.
- Drive customer strategy and strengthen relationships with key customers, contractors, and industry consultants.
- Oversee field operations including installation, service delivery, and asset management for cost efficiency.
