Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking an Area General Manager to oversee multiple hotels within a region, driving operational excellence, financial performance, and guest satisfaction across the portfolio. You’ll collaborate with General Managers, Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, and corporate teams to maximize performance.

This leadership role requires strong strategic planning, travel between properties, and a proven track record in multi-property hospitality leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive hotel leadership across multi-property operations.
• Experience in executive hotel leadership roles or regional operations.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, revenue, and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple hotels within a region to drive performance and consistency.
• Coach General Managers and leadership teams to improve operations and engagement.
• Monitor KPIs: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor, profitability, and market share.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance, and Operations for growth.
• Oversee standards, brand compliance, safety, quality, and cost management.
