Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a General Manager to complete an 8- to 12-month training program before assuming a GM role in one of our Southeast Region locations. Assignments could be in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida, with extensive travel during training to learn our business and lead sales & service teams.

Successful candidates will drive day-to-day sales and profit, monitor performance, and ensure compliant operations while building strong teams across

Qualifications

Three to five years’ General Management experience in a service-related industry.
Energetic leader with a strong team orientation.
Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred.
Pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Drive day-to-day sales and profit goals and ensure quality service.
Monitor and report monthly performance including P&L, sales, expenditures, and forecasts.
Oversee managers and supervisors; lead a large team across a market.
Collaborate with Regional VP to improve performance and align with company plans.
Ensure licensing, certifications, HR compliance, and customer development.
Recruit, hire and retain management, administration, and service staff.
