Job summary

Central Texas Stone & Aggregate (CTSA) is seeking a General Manager to lead regional aggregate operations and drive commercial growth across West Texas, including Abilene. This hands-on leadership role combines site operations with business development, ensuring safety, production, and profitability while building a high-performing team in the Abilene area.

The role emphasizes overseeing startup and ongoing operations, managing budgets, developing customer relationships, and ensuring MSHA

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in aggregates, mining, or heavy-construction operations.
• Demonstrated success in sales, business development, or customer management within aggregates, construction materials, or a related industry.
• Leadership experience leading a site, operation, or business unit with accountability for safety, production, cost, and financial results.
• Working knowledge of MSHA requirements and aggregate safety and quality standards.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development, commissioning, and day-to-day operation of aggregate production sites, including site infrastructure, plant setup, and material production.
• Develop and grow the regional customer base through relationship building, market development, and responsiveness to customer needs.
• Ensure product quality and conformance to applicable specifications and standards; manage environmental, permitting, dust, blasting, and reclamation obligations.
• Recruit, hire, train, and lead site personnel, including administrative staff and operators; scale the team to meet demand.
• Foster a safety-focused culture and ensure full compliance with MSHA and all regulations; manage budget and performance against targets.
