Job summary

Titan America is seeking an Area Operations Manager, MABU Aggregates to lead multiple quarry sites in Virginia, overseeing safety, production, quality, and environmental compliance. The role involves strategic and hands-on management of drilling, blasting, crushing, processing, and distribution, with travel across sites and a 25% travel expectation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Mining Engineering and 8–10 years in aggregates or heavy industry, with at least 5 years in multi-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining or related field is preferred.
• 8-10 years of progressive aggregates/mining/industrial operations experience.
• Minimum 5 years of management overseeing multiple sites or large operations.
• Strong knowledge of aggregate production processes and MSHA regulations.
• Proven experience managing budgets and operational metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and champion a zero-incident culture across locations.
• Oversee daily operations of multiple aggregate production sites including drilling, blasting, crushing, and processing.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and customer demand are met.
• Develop budgets and monitor KPIs such as costs, output, and profitability.
• Lead site leadership teams, coaching, performance evaluations, and workforce planning.
• Partner with maintenance to ensure asset reliability and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.
