Job summary

Echo Electric is hiring a Gear Quotations Coordinator to support the Northeast Region by creating accurate, timely gear quotations and competitive bid proposals. You will collaborate with sales, project management, branch teams, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure smooth handoffs and profitable decisions.

The role emphasizes regional process standardization, proactive communication, and maintaining high accuracy and service standards across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years experience with electrical products, gear, or related materials.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, specs, and layouts.
• Understanding of electrical contractor workflows and quotation processes.
• Strong math, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and customer/vendor relationship building.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and customer requirements to develop accurate BOMs and gear quotations.
• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals meeting deadlines and margin expectations.
• Partner with sales leadership to develop pricing strategies and support profitable decisions.
• Coordinate with project management and sales for a clear handoff from quotation to order execution.
• Communicate proactively with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and internal partners throughout the bid process.
• Confirm pricing, terms, lead times, product availability, and substitutions; maintain documentation.
• Follow regional quotation processes and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Monitor opportunities and ordering activity to identify risks before they affect customers.
• Build product and technical knowledge through training and collaboration.
• Maintain strong relationships with outside/inside sales, branch teams, project management, and support staff.
• Communicate customer needs and next steps clearly and promptly.
• Maintain high standards for accuracy, service, teamwork, ethics, and accountability.
