Job summary

Echo Electric, a Sonepar brand, is seeking a Gear Quotations Coordinator to support the Northeast Region by delivering accurate, timely, and profitable quotations for customer projects. You will collaborate with sales, project management, branch teams, customers, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure smooth handoffs and standardized processes.

You will build product knowledge through training and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners while adhering to regional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with electrical products, gear, or related materials preferred.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and specifications.
• Understanding of electrical contractor workflows and quotations.
• Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specs, and requirements to develop bill of materials and gear quotations.
• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals meeting deadlines and margins.
• Develop pricing strategies with sales leadership for profitable decisions.
• Coordinate handoffs from quotation through order execution with project teams.
• Communicate proactively with customers, vendors, and internal partners throughout bids.
• Confirm pricing, terms, lead times, and product availability with documentation.
• Follow regional quotation processes and suggest improvements for consistency.
• Monitor opportunities and ordering activity to identify risks before impacting customers.
• Build product and technical knowledge through training and collaboration.
• Maintain strong relationships with sales, branches, and support teams.
