Job summary

Echo Electric, owned by Sonepar, seeks a Gear Quotations Coordinator to drive accurate, timely quotations for Northeast Region projects. You will collaborate with sales, project management, branches, customers, and vendors to standardize processes and improve handoffs.

This role emphasizes pricing strategy, cross-location coordination, and delivering a dependable customer experience while aligning regional operations with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with electrical products, gear, lighting, or related project materials.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and customer requirements to develop accurate bills of material and quotations.
• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals meeting deadlines, margins, and documentation standards.
• Develop pricing strategies with sales leadership to support profitable decisions.
• Coordinate with project management and sales for clear handoffs from quotation through order execution.
• Communicate proactively with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and internal partners throughout quotations process.
• Confirm special pricing, terms, lead times, product availability, and substitutions with documentation.
• Follow Northeast Region quotation processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and service.
• Monitor opportunities and ordering activity to identify pricing, scope, or delivery risks.
• Build product and technical knowledge through training and collaboration with team members.
• Maintain strong relationships with outside sales, inside sales, branches, PM, vendors, and support teams.
• Communicate customer needs, changes, risks, and next steps clearly.
