Job summary

Echo Electric, part of Sonepar, seeks a Gear Quotations Coordinator to support the Northeast Region. You will prepare accurate bills of material, develop competitive bid proposals, and collaborate with sales to drive profitable projects.

The role involves coordinating with project teams and vendors to ensure timely handoffs from quotation through order execution. Applicants should have a business-related degree and 3+ years’ experience with electrical products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3+ years experience with electrical products, gear, lighting, or related project materials preferred.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, specs, and layout documents.
• Understanding of electrical contractor workflows and project-based quotations.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specs, and customer requirements to develop accurate bills of material and gear quotations.
• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals meeting deadlines and margins.
• Collaborate with sales and quotations leadership to develop pricing strategies and identify alternatives.
• Coordinate handoffs from quotation to order execution with project management and sales teams.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, manufacturers, and internal partners throughout the bid process.
