Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a seasoned Sales professional to cover MA, RI, CT, Southern VT and Southern NH, plus the Albany NY region. You will maintain margins, manage bids, ensure timely product delivery, and build a profitable member base in collaboration with the Business Review Manager.

You will develop relationships with members, promote corporate and vendor programs, and pursue new multi-unit opportunities while travelling regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher not required; High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• 3+ years of successful sales experience in foodservice.
• Able to speak effectively to groups of customers.
• Proficient with computers and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain established profit margins on accounts and manage monthly bid evaluations.
• Ensure delivery of products to customers to meet acceptable customer expectations.
• Establish and maintain a profitable member base of assigned member accounts with the Business Review Manager.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with members, promoting local and corporate entities.
• Grow business with existing multi-unit customers and prospect for new multi-unit customers.
• Travel as directed within assigned territory; cover Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Southern Vermont, Southern New Hampshire, and Albany region.
