Job summary

Victorinox is seeking a Business Development Regional Sales Manager for Food Processing to lead in-plant activations, train staff, and expand penetration in beef, pork, poultry, game, and fishing sectors across the processing market.

The role emphasizes pre-visit planning, on-site demonstrations, and collaboration with plant management, trainers, and procurement to drive yields, reduce knife usage, and lower costs while aligning with Victorinox strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the processing industry at national or regional level.
• A high degree of organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills – both internal and external
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability and willingness to travel 60 – 70%
• Strong relationship building skills
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese a PLUS

Responsibilities

• Engage with plant leaders before visits to align on usage and inventory.
• Provide on-site product training and sharpening consultation.
• Present information to plant management, trainers and procurement teams.
• Audit sharpening systems and testing equipment longevity.
• Train plant trainers and certify participants.
• Grow sales by managing distributor and end-user accounts in the territory.
